Information on the supplier selection, evaluation and re-evaluation process
BODYTONE, within the framework of its Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, establishes a process for the selection, evaluation and
monitoring of suppliers, in order to ensure that the products and services purchased meet the applicable quality, legal and environmental requirements.
1. Selection and approval
Suppliers are assessed before approval, taking into account:
Operational and commercial criteria
• Suitability of the product or service.
• Value for money.
• Compliance with deadlines.
• Supply and response capacity.
• Technical capability and innovation.
Management criteria
• Certified management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or others).
• Compliance with applicable law.
• Environmental performance where the supply may generate significant impacts.
Compliant suppliers are added to the Approved Supplier List. Placing an order implies approval.
2. Performance monitoring
Supplier control is carried out through:
• Compliance with requirements: number and severity of incidents, and effectiveness in resolving them.
• Receiving inspection: verification that the product or service and the associated documentation are compliant.
Deviations are recorded and reported to the supplier so that corrective actions can be defined
3. Re-evaluation
Suppliers are re-evaluated annually or whenever serious incidents, repeated non-compliance or significant changes in supply occur.
Classification:
• Approved: compliant performance.
• Under monitoring: requires specific improvements.
• Not approved: purchases suspended until corrective actions are verified
4. General requirements for suppliers
Suppliers must guarantee:
• Compliance with legislation and contractual requirements.
• Environmental protection and pollution prevention where applicable.
• Competence of personnel and quality of supply.
• Confidentiality of the information provided by BODYTONE, understood as all non-public technical, commercial or strategic information.
• Compliance with current data protection regulations.
The supplier must report any deviation from these conditions. Acceptance of the order implies knowledge of and agreement with them.
