This agreement, signed by Jerónimo Domínguez , CEO of the Bodytone company, and by José Luis Mendoza , president of UCAM, will make possible the development of a new treadmill that will improve the physical condition of athletes and help prevent injuries in this field.
In this way, the Catholic University of San Antonio of Murcia Bodytone and the company will investigate for a year an improvement to the product that will reduce the harmful effects that a training session has on the joints, with the aim of being able to prevent them, or even prevent their impact on the lives of athletes.

Jerónimo Domínguez, CEO of Bodytone, and Alberto Encarnación , researcher at UCAM, agreed that both institutions have an exciting challenge ahead of them, which is to work on the transfer of knowledge of the biomechanical response of athletes to sports machinery.
Estrella Nuñez , Vice-Rector of Research at UCAM, highlights the multidisciplinary nature of this study, since different areas will be involved in order to carry it out, from the sports field to telecommunications, adding that "the multidisciplinarity of science is what needs to be put on the table to carry out interesting projects, as well as the important university-business collaboration, to promote the business fabric."
