Maintenance
Weekly:
- Check its operation.
- Check that the machine is level with the ground.
- Make sure that both the surface and the underside of the machine are clean.
- Lubricate guide rods, bushings, rod ends, linear bushings, shafts, and rivet stems.
- Inspect the cables and cable terminations and replace them at any sign of wear.
Monthly:
- Inspect structures, cable connections, and visible welds.
- Inspect the cables and cable terminations and replace them at any sign of wear.
- Verify that all cables have a proper tension level.
- Inspect the upholstery and padding for excessive wear.
- Clean the machine with a cloth.
- Verify that the weight stack tube tie is secure.
- Verify that the instruction panel is attached and intact.
Quarterly basis: *
- Check the movement of the machine to ensure smooth operation throughout the full range of travel.
- Check that seat adjustments are fully functional and fully lubricated.
Semi-annually: **
- Check the cable tension.
- Inspect all weight tubes to ensure their safety.
