Maintenance
Preventive maintenance is very important for the good functionality of your equipment. Care will help you extend the life of the machines and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Weekly:
Check its operation
Check that the machine is level with the ground
Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord.
Inspect the power cord and make sure it is not damaged.
Make sure that both the surface and the underside of the machine are clean.
Use a dry towel to clean the deck and the belt.
Verify that the lanyard is in place and working.
Clean the console with a damp cloth and dry it completely.
Monthly:
Verify that the stop clip is in place and working.
Visually inspect that the deck and treadmill are in good condition.
Inspect the power cord and make sure it is in good condition.
Perform functionality tests to verify that everything works correctly.
Clean the belt frame using an approved cleaning product. Use a soft nylon bristle brush or towel to do this.
Make sure that both the surface and the underside of the machine are clean.
Inspect visible welds, structure, and cable connections.
Clean the drive belt and pulley with a small wire brush.
Inspect deck and treadmill.
Quarterly basis: *
Check the tension, tracking and alignment of the treadmill. Re-tension or make an adjustment if necessary.
Check drive belt tension and adjust if necessary.
Remove cover and vacuum motor controller compartment and fan.
Perform software diagnosis, check LED function and record odometer reading.
Perform heart rate functionality tests, both manual and wireless.
Semi-annually: **
Check the brushes of the drive motor.
Lubricate the lift motor screw
Check the function of the speed sensor.
Visually inspect all cables and connectors.
Perform software diagnosis, check LED function and record odometer reading.
